MY STORY

Bookshelves filled with various books, a wooden ladder leaning against the shelves for reaching higher books.

From the age of 5 to 13, I spent every afternoon in a library. My after-school care was held amongst the stacks of my small K-8, and during those 9 years I tried my best to read every book they had. After college, I did what every verbal, opinionated child does and went to law school. While I loved studying the law, I felt a nagging suspicion that something was missing. After 5 years practicing as an attorney, I figured it out and left law behind.

I had started freelance writing as a hobby in 2018 to save my sanity after late nights of litigation prep. I ended up liking it so much that I made it my full-time career in 2023. I love staying on the cutting edge of culture and synthesizing it through my first passion of the written word. Luckily, my time in law wasn’t a total waste: I learned crisp, effective, persuasive writing and mastered turning complex concepts into accessible, engaging copy. I love what I do, and most of all, I enjoy helping people engineer the right content for their needs. So stay in touch—I’d love to help you, too.
